CDX Plywood is one of the most economical
grades of plywood, due mostly to the fact that it is left rough
on both sides. The C and the D are meant to describe the two
sides of the sheet.. CDX comes in pine and fir. CDX is used
as sheathing for our sheds. Sheathing is the layer of wood that
is applied to the studs and framing of the shed for the walls
and roof and flooring. |

Felt Paper also called builder's felt or
felt paper, asphalt-saturated felt has been covering roofs for
more than 50 years. The felt is made of a paper base that is
impregnated or saturated with asphalt to make it more resistant
to the elements. Some papers are actually coated in asphalt,
while others are truly saturated. Roofing paper or felt is rolled
across a roof deck and stapled or nailed in place. |

that's rot and insect resistant. Pressure treating is a process
that forces a chemical preservative deep into the wood. |
